We love working on projects together. We spend a lot of time coming up with new things to do with the beads. We used a round toothpick to pick up the beads and put them down. The kids think it is fun. The toothpicks hold about 10 beads and you can place them easily on the pegboards. Thank you for giving us a family project that we can do together.

I have a suggestion to pass on to others concerning the ironing process. I have found that after the first ironing process is finished, instead of taking the paper off, lift the pegboard up a little then flip the board with the design and paper over, then gently take the board off. I then put a second peice of paper on top, then iron gently the back side. Then let the project cool. I have found this to be easier in case on the first ironing you miss some of the beads it allows you to iron again without losing the beads or project.

We have recently spent a lot of quality time creating numerous bead designs, and have looked at all the many submissions on your website.

My daughter is normally very focused and artistic as it is, but for my high-maintenance, can't-sit-still for 5 seconds 4-year old son to sit and work on these bead projects has been a blessing.

I think we have almost every pegboard there is, but Marissa for some reason really wants those tweezers. (We had a pair, but they got stepped on and broke--by Luke, of course.) We haven't been able to find them in the stores, so are thankful to get a pair here. Perhaps most amazing is for my 16 year old son to get into it. I honestly think once someone sees these, they HAVE to do at least one project!

Bottom line is that I think we're addicted (probably mom more than the rest). So anyway, don't really know if any email message was necessary, but just wanted to relay how much we enjoy your product.

I just wanted to let you know how happy I am with your product. My children (ages 8 and 10) both LOVE working with this craft. The endless possibilities excite them AND me because I feel that they are truly tapping into their creative side. The educational factor also makes me happy; they are using patterns, creating color schemes, and even using simple geometry...what more could a parent want in a toy. Our summer activities have been keeping us busy and now we have a super craft to fill in the moments of down time.

Thank you for your wonderful invention. Kudos to your company...for creating a toy that actually helps our children learn and grow, unlike the mindless electronic games. I hope that your business thrives, I will do my best to spread the word and support your company!!

I just wanted to share a cute idea!!! My daughter's love making Perler beads, and afterwards would put them in a drawer, they would get lost or some of the beads would break off. So we came up with an idea to keep their designs perfect. We went to our local craft store and purchased a scrapbook, some white paper and even a plastic insert for the white paper. Now this keeps their designs at hand and easily accessible.

HOT TIP! Add GLITTER to your designs for a great effect!
  • Before ironing, cover your ironing surface with paper.
  • Place your pegboard with beads on top of the paper.
  • Sprinkle very fine glitter over the top of your beads.
(coarse glitter won't stick as well.)
  • Cover with ironing paper and GENTLY iron following our
    1-2-3-4 instructions.
  • Turn the design over and repeat the above steps!!
